Go Green, Be Green and Save Green with GreenVent Kitchen Rebates for your Restaurant!

The GreenVent for Energy Efficient Kitchens Program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of Melink Company Intelli-Hood® controls. Melink’s Intelli-Hood® controls modulate the speed of the exhaust and make up air fan motors with variable frequency drives (VFD’s) based on the temperature of exhaust air and the presence of any effluent, smoke or steam, in the air stream. This technology substantially reduces customer energy consumption, during peak usage hours of noon to 10 pm Monday through Friday. When kitchens are not operating at full capacity the Intelli-Hood control scales back the Horsepower necessary to remove exhaust. Its advanced automation control enables restaurants to vent the necessary amount needed, ensuring cleanliness and all applicable air quality and safety regulations.
